Shannon Tweed

Born in Newfoundland, Canada, on March 10, 1957, Shannon Tweed first made a name for herself representing Ottawa and placing fourth in the 1978 Miss Canada Pageant.

Soon after, she was featured as the Playboy Playmate of the Month in the magazine's November 1981 issue and as Playmate of the Year in 1982. That same year, she joined the cast of the nighttime drama "Falcon Crest" in the role of Diana Hunter and moved on to the daytime soap opera "Days of Our Lives" in 1985.

Since then, Tweed has acted in a series of low-budget, straight-to-video/cable releases (usually featuring her in some stage of undress), including such titles as Night Visitor, Lethal Woman, Sexual Response, The Naked Truth, Indecent Behavior, Victim of Desire, Illicit Dreams, Human Desires, Naked Lies and Forbidden Sins. She has occasionally shown up in more mainstream releases, such as 1999's Detroit Rock City.
