Rose McGowan

A fair-skinned actress with a penchant for exhibitionism, Rose McGowan was born in Florence, Italy, on Dec. 13, 1974. After moving to the United States with her mother, she swiftly gained a reputation as a wild child, spending time in rehab, modeling and ultimately finding her way to Hollywood.

McGowan's career choices have tended toward the dark and offbeat, most notably with roles in The Doom Generation (1995) and Grindhouse (2007). But she's also starred in mainstream teen fare like Scream (1996) and is probably best known for playing a half-sister with supernatural powers on the series "Charmed."

McGowan also gained notoriety for her provocative public persona. She once appeared at an MTV awards show with then-boyfriend Marilyn Manson wearing a dress made of a metallic see-through material. It left so little to the imagination that it had to be airbrushed for the live telecast.
