Hayden Panettiere

Born Aug. 21, 1989, in Palisades, N.Y., Hayden Panettiere appeared in her first commercial when she was just 11 months old and has found steady work in television and film ever since. Thanks to long-standing roles on the soap operas "One Life to Live" (beginning at age 4) and "Guiding Light," viewers have watched Panettiere grow up on television.

Panettiere continued her journey to stardom with films such as Remember the Titans, Joe Somebody and HBO's Normal, as well as with recurring roles on television's "Ally McBeal" and "Malcolm in the Middle." But TV audiences may know her best as the superpower-endowed cheerleader Claire Bennet on the hit show "Heroes," a role that has won her multiple Teen Choice Awards.

In addition to her film and television work, Panettiere has lent her voice to numerous animated projects, including both the feature film and video game of A Bug's Life.
