Judy Greer

Born July 20, 1975, in Detroit, Judy Greer spent much of her youth studying classical ballet before shifting her focus to acting, receiving her bachelor's degree in theater from DePaul University. Three days after graduating, she landed a role in the David Schwimmer comedy Kissing a Fool (1998) and has worked consistently in TV and film ever since.

Although Greer has proved equally adept at comedy and drama in films such as Three Kings and What Women Want, her most attention-getting performances have capitalized on her gift for grabbing laughs, from her portrayal of a ditzy assistant in 2001's The Wedding Planner to her recurring role on the Fox satire "Arrested Development" (2003-05).

Recent films for Greer include the indie comedy The Amateurs (2005), Wes Craven's Cursed, Elizabethtown (opposite Orlando Bloom) and Paul Weitz's political satire American Dreamz (2006).
