Years after serving together in the French Foreign Legion, American mercenary Franz Propp (Charles Bronson) and French physician Dino Barron (Alain Delon) are surprisingly reunited when they're locked up in a building while trying to steal the valuable contents of a safe. The teaming of screen icons Bronson and Delon is a great treat in director Jean Herman's gritty 1969 thriller, which also stars Brigitte Fossey.
