When prominent scientist Nanda Kishore passes away, his wife Sohini (Raveena Tandon) must find a new researcher to continue his work and carry on his legacy. Sohini also has her hands full looking for a suitable husband for her daughter, Neela (Arpita Chatterjee). Sohini's search leads her to Reboti Bhattacharya (Saheb Chatterjee), a top science student, but both mother and daughter have questions about his character.
