Falsely accused of murdering a crooked newspaper reporter, suave detective Lamont Cranston (Kane Richmond) -- whose masked alter ego is The Shadow -- vows to track down the killer who has impersonated him and implicated him in the crime. This thriller based on the popular comic-book character also stars Barbara Read as Margo Lane, The Shadow's elegant fiancée, who's always sticking her nose where she shouldn't when it comes to Cranston's work.
