Holidays, be damned -- the carnage will continue in deceptively lovely Midsomer County, where Detective Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby (John Nettles) and his able assistant Ben Jones (Jason Hughes) are pulled from a hated team-building exercise to investigate an explosion. As the intended victim was the most despised man in town, Barnaby and Jones find themselves up to their eyeballs in suspects -- with the man's own granny heading the list.
