Frank Borzage directs this early talkie drama about a once-famous opera singer who attempts to resurrect his career for the benefit of an old flame. Irish tenor John McCormack sings the film's notable soundtrack, and musical highlights include McCormack's performance of "I Hear You Calling Me," "Kitty, My Love, Will You Marry Me," and "A Pair of Blue Eyes." The film co-stars Maureen O'Sullivan, in her big screen debut.
