On Jeanne's (Isild Le Besco) birthday, her mother breaks the news that her father is an Indian man she met while traveling. Determined to find the dad she never knew, actress Jeanne takes a dubious role in a movie to make some quick cash and hops on a plane. She soon finds herself adrift in an unfamiliar land, until she befriends a young man who volunteers to help guide her through India. Benoît Jacquot wrote and directed this passionate drama.
