Principled bandit Raja Thakur (Sunil Dutt) is sent to search for a missing woman. When he finds her, she's working as a courtesan who goes by the name Janniya (Rekha). She charms Raja Thakur, but the beauty is soon kidnapped by an urban gangster, prompting the bandit to leave the countryside and venture into the dark city. The tune-filled adventure features the number "Chain Se Hum Ko Kabhi Aap Ne Jeene Na Diya," sung by Asha Bhosle.
