In this adaptation of a long-running Broadway play, the focus is on a large French-Canadian family living in Quebec in the early part of the 20th century. Charles Boyer plays the family scion; Bobby Driscoll plays his adolescent son Bibi; and Louis Jourdan plays the prodigal uncle who returns to the family fold just in time to lead the impressionable Bibi astray in this farcical family comedy that received multiple Golden Globe nods.
