Cult comic book hero Hellboy (voiced by Ron Perlman) is sent by the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense to investigate the demonic possession of a college folklore professor in this animated adventure from directors Phil Weinstein and Tad Stones. With the help of an ancient samurai sword, Hellboy travels to a spirit world of Japanese specters to battle the demons. John Hurt, Selma Blair and Doug Jones lend their voices to this feature.
