One of Mozart's most beloved comic operas, "Cosi" tells of sisters Dorabella (Katharina Kammerloher) and Fiordiligi (Dorothea Roschmann), who have their fidelity put to the test by their fiancés, who disguise themselves to tempt the ladies. Film director Doris Dörrie and the Berlin State Opera bring hippie sensibilities to this 2002 production; the timeless tale, here set in the 1970s, takes on new meaning in the context of the feminist movement.
