Comedy duo Nino (Santiago Segura) and Bruno (El Gran Wyoming) skyrocket to fame in the 1970s after a chance meeting. With Bruno as the straight man and Nino as the "dumb" half of the team, their act is based on humiliation, a circumstance that eventually leads to ill will and the team's demise. Years later, they're on the way to their reunion show, with the chasm between them as wide as ever.
