In this installment of Lucas Belvaux's dramatic trilogy, a troubled cop, Pascal (Gilbert Melki), struggles to relate to a wife (Dominique Blanc) with a morphine habit and to capture a prisoner named Bruno (Belvaux) who's on the loose. When a drug dealer who supplies Pascal with morphine for his wife bribes him to kill Bruno, Pascal refuses; his source walls him out, leaving his wife incensed and willing to do anything to get her fix.
