Enrico Caruso was the most celebrated tenor of the early 20th Century. But before he was singing his heart out in the world's most famous opera houses, Caruso grew up in poverty in Naples, Italy. This Italian biopic from director Giacomo Gentilomo dramatizes the singer's early years, following the youth (played by Ermanno Randi) as he chases his dream of being a singer. A young Gina Lollobrigida co-stars.
