Conflicted ventriloquist Jerry Morgan (Danny Kaye) can't get the voices out of his head: First his dolls ruin a marriage prospect, and then they return from the repair shop with noggins full of classified data and a pack of spies in pursuit. In this delirious comedy, Morgan assumes one identity after another as he gives the agents the slip, while Dr. Ilse Nordstrom (Mai Zetterling) plays a psychiatric role -- and then some -- in the proceedings.
