Five teens (Ami Dolenz, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, David Moscow, Amy O'Neill and Mark Riffon) are high on life during a fortnight adventure through the Cascade Mountains. But when their leader falls over a cliff, nature ups the ante and the adolescents must band together to save themselves. The film is a sequel (not in plot, but in spirit) to Cry in the Wild, which was based on Gary Paulsen's popular children's book Hatchet.
