This delightful, flamboyant swashbuckler is based on the novel by romance author Barbara Cartland. A good-hearted highwayman (Hugh Grant) who steals from the corrupt aristocracy and gives to the poor falls for a lovely high-society lady (Emma Samms) in Protectorate England. As he tries to continue his charitable thievery, he's caught up in a tangled web of treachery and is forced to choose between his secret loyalty and his true love.
